Thana and Teo (a nereid and triton, denizens of the sea). Due to the exciting and unpredictable world of genetics, Thana can't live very well under the sea. Her daddy being one of the powerful sea-lords and concerned for her well-being and all, he sent Teo to be her body guard. Normally he appears laid-back and has a sense of humor, but it looks like it's time for him to go to work.

I drew the line art a while ago, then left it. When I saw Loish's Ariel ([link]) and the link she gave for textures, I thought "Maybe I'll actually explore textures." The result is much more self-consciously texturized and flat. More like a faint collage (Like Gankotsuo! But less trippy.) It was a really fun experiment, though.
